Is he the HULK or Mr. Incredible?

We all know Justin is a big kid. Since birth, he started out as a big kid and hasn't slowed since. He has always amazed me, and others, with how strong he is. This has been the ultimate test. We bought him a sandbox digger last year and just put it together. It looks, more or less, like the once pictured.
I came out yesterday to look at it, since the boy I watch in the summer wanted to play on it. Justin looks at me and says, "Oh no. Broke!". I'm thinking to myself, how on earth can this METAL thing get broken in 3 days. Oh, it did. Justin ripped the seat OFF of the metal base. Yes, it was welded together. Maybe not the BEST job, but still!!! heaven help me if he starts lifting the car to get something underneath.

for Jackson

Here Jackson, we changed the background to John Deere. For the two boys who LOVE trucks. All trucks. Justin's new thing is to carry trucks around in an old ice cream bucket. to bed, to church, to the store, to the bathroom, to the dinner table. Can we all say, Obsess much?

Time for Work!

When Kevin and I were getting married, I asked him to make sure we always show affection towards each other in front of the children so they would know we loved each other. One thing Kevin does every day, is give me a kiss goodbye and one when he gets home. Well, Justin has decided to "go to work" every day. He gets his car ready, fills up with gas, and then has to kiss me good bye as he "goes off to work". It is on the of the cutest things he has done.

And for Grandma -- he gave me a kiss goodbye, put his bear in the stroller and says Bye! Going to the park! and he just starts pushing the stroller to the park. Yes, I only let him get to the corner (we live on the corner). He would have gone the whole way by himself if I had let him. I guess that'll be the first place to look if I can't find him in the house. He thinks he can "kiss me goodbye" and just take off! As I've always said...Heaven help us!

background

So...I changed the background once more. Since the two little boys love their trucks, and Justin tells me EVERY time we see one, and what it is, Trucks is our our new background. I guess I should be politically correct and put a John Deere background on, but these will have to do!

Something is working

When Justin was around 2, we started using Time Out as his punishment. I tried to be good about just sending him to time out and ignoring him. He gets it now and all I have to do is point and he knows where he has to go, crying, screaming, throwing a fit, the whole way of course.

Well, last week, Kevin did something and I told him "not to do it" (for the life of me I couldn't tell you what he did). Without any hesitation, Justin looked at his dad and said, pointing, "Dad, Time Out. Go!" It was hilarious. Something I will NOT forget!

Like Mommy, like son....

So, tell me if Justin has seen me feed Kyle WAY too much. The other night I look over at him sitting on the couch, and he has his shirt up and his bear is "eating", he tells me. He lets the bear feed at his belly button. For the past week, now, the bear "eats" before Justin takes him, tells me to be quiet, and lays his bear in his bed. Like Mommy, like son, eh??
