Did you know they have 6th grade graduations? I know about Kindergarten or preschool...but they had the whole pomp and circumstance playing! AND they gave them "diplomas" with pictures they had taken of them in a cap and gown! Crazy!

James and his sleepwalking
Last night we had some friends over for dinner and James had been boating with some neighbors all day. Needless to say it can make you pretty worn out. So Kevin snapped this pic of James holding Kyle. He wanted to hold him for a minute before he went to bed and just fell asleep. but not any sleep. We all know James is a HEAVY sleeper, but he hasn't been "disoriented" when we have woken him up, in a long time. Last night was an exception. I woke him up to send him to his room and he started wandering around the house...with his eyes closed. I told him to go to his room and he went into the laundry room. I told him again and he walked in circles in the kitchen. I asked him what he was doing and he told me "i'm thinking". He kept trying to go upstairs and I asked him again what he was doing and he'd walk down the stairs, turn around and go back up. It was hilarious. He wandered into my bedroom and back out and then into Marilee's bedroom and started to climb into her bed. I took him out and walked him into his room and he still just looked at me (eyes closed still). I had to pull back the covers and almost "shove" him into bed before he could take off again.
He has Youth Conference starting today so I hope he can stay awake! they are going to our stake president's cabin---I hope he has so much fun! Here is a pic of the two boys together.

It's been awhile
I really honestly didn't mean to let 3 weeks go by without a posting. I'll fill everyone in on the past few weeks.
My mom is a godsend. That is all I have to say. She came out a week before Kyle was born and helped out every day. Justin didn't know what to do with himself once Grandma left. the first day she was gone he went 'looking' for her. His idea is to just scream out the name and we are supposed to respond. She let me sleep in every morning while she got up with Justin at the "butt crack of dawn" as Kevin puts it. She cleaned, did laundry and just let me relax for a week. is it a good thing? YES...but then I get so spoiled and wish I had a nanny, house cleaner, etc. It was nice to just be able to focus on Kyle for a week and then incorporate everything together. I love my mom and hope everyone has a mom like she is. thank you Mom!!!!
Kyle had his two week check up a few days ago. He left the hospital weighing 8lbs 3oz and oh...dont worry...he's not missing any meals because he weighed 9lbs 6 oz with a 19oz weight gain in two weeks. Granted, he's not as big as my nephew, Elijah who gained like 5lbs in two months. I'm just happy to see Kyle being healthy and happy.
We went to Orem Summerfest on Saturday and took Justin to his "first parade" that he could actually understand. He loved the firetrucks and the licorice. That was all he cared about. Kyle slept through everything, of course! We also let Justin stay up WAY late. They have firework and so we decided to let him stay up to watch them. I don't think he has ever been up that late...at least not without 2-3 naps to "hold him over". He did great and then proceeded to pass out in the car within 3 minutes of sitting in his car seat.
I"m definitely learning about juggling "two kids" by myself. I hope I survive!
