Easter goggles

The little boys had a lot of fun dying easter eggs with Kevin’s brother, Kenny and family. Thank you Sarah for providing the dye kits! They actually didn’t make a mess. There were a few cracked eggs, but nothing major!

The boys got swim goggles for Easter as well as a sprinkler/water toy. Justin wanted to use it THAT day. I had to explain to him it is a BIT too cold right now. (we had snow flurries yesterday morning). Every day he asks if its summer so he can hook it up. I at least let them use the goggles in the bathtub!

another one down!

I hate that I have no time to spend quilting. I have one work in progress, and 2 more ready to be cut and put together. I DID however, finish a Valentine's day runner and a baby quilt for my friend Diana. I REALLY liked how they both turned out! I can't wait for this semester to be OVER!! On to more quilts! wahoo!! I am so liking this hobby.

 Seriously .. I made this in one day. All of it! it was super easy. 5 blocks (2 pink and 3 red) and it was all done. I like projects like that! I really liked the background fabric too.

 I did also, which you can't see very well--did stippling on it! It is so much fun. I actually did it on both of them. I'm getting better at it.

 I really like this background! I used the Lilly & Will for Moda fabric.

Justin's 1st Soccer game--

Justin is LOVING getting to play on a soccer team this season. He was smiling the whole time he was playing! It was a hoot to watch the kids play magnet ball. His team name is Crazy Kicks and he even got a soccer ball for his birthday!

Justin's 5th birthday

I can't believe my baby boy is 5!! Time has just flown by, yet it seems he'll be little forever. He has changed so much and grown and is just excited about life. I love how excited he gets over his presents, over being able to play soccer and learning to write/read. He can't wait for kindergarten and decided in his prayer last night that all he wants to do this summer is go: to swim lessons, the ball museum (Gateway Discovery), the Aquarium, the park, speech, and the zoo. He has the summer planned, apparently.

Justin--we have loved watching you grow and learn every year. You are a passionate little boy who loves his "special things". We love watching you play with your brothers and laugh together. You remind us all to love life and remember every little thing. You help us remember to be excited for the small things that are given to us and treat everything as if it's the biggest, most important thing in our life. We can't wait for you to start your school life and learn even more and absorb the world around you. We love to see how important family and friends are to you and how much you miss them when you are not with them. You are a true friend who cares deeply for others.
