The local community center here has a small program for little kids, 3-4, to play different sports (ie: run around for an hour and get a treat) or rather try and learn some rules. We did soccer this summer…the pictures speak for themselves.

I guess he had fun—he was the kid who was just kind of did his own thing. Oh well…he’s only 3, right?
I asked the little boys awhile ago, what kind of material they wanted for their “summer” blankets. We searched the internet for different types of fabrics and Justin quickly picked this cowboy material by Riley Blake. I had to wait for it to come to the fabric store so when it did, Justin was a BIT overjoyed!!
This is what I cut out for the material…and here is the quilt top. I still have to get a backing and quilt it, but i did get the top done before August!! I’m just slow at posting. I’ll get Kyle’s up…after I make it! His is the Pirate line by Riley Blake.
