So I got my hair done yesterday for the first time in 11 months. Done, meaning, colored. I love the girl who does my hair. When I got there, I told her it was "terrible". She didn't believe me, until I took it down from the ponytail it had been in for the week. She just said, "you weren't kidding.". She honestly thought I was exaggerating, until she saw it for herself. She said, it's okay...we'll fix it. I realy thought it would have to be taken up to my chin to even it all out, it was that bad. No..she's amazing. She colored it, evened it out and kept the length to my shoulders. This is still the shortest probably MOST have ever seen it, unless you saw me right after my mission (or the nasty ugly cut DURING my mission). I actually really like it.
I asked Kevin what he thought about it when he got home, he just looked at me and said..."it's short.". Thanks, hon! He said I can NEVER go shorter than this. So here is my "new do". I'm not wearing make-up and it's just a quick shot from the computer....but none-the-less...here it is!!!

I think it looks GREAT!!! :) And I think we wives need to be better at doing whatever we want with our hair and not letting our hubbies dictate what we do! :) (Not saying you do that, Beth...just sayin' in general I think we gals are sometimes too swayed by our husbands who say they prefer longer hair...) :) My husband learned fairly quickly to adopt a "if you're happy, then I'm happy" attitude! :) :) Anyway, seeing your new 'do makes me look forward more to getting my hair done...hopefully before I see you again next week!
It looks fabulous! While I don't like to modify my look too drastically, I can't keep the same style for long. I change it up all the time. I just got a new one last week. I LOVE it! Who knows...you might grow to love shoulder length hair. :)
I love it! I still want to see the "before" pictures though. I hope you took one. I was picturing something much, much worse.

I think you are work'in that hair cut Beth! Shedding some locks is always therapeutic... and it always ends up growing back. So, you go girl! I love it.
