I seriously love this place. I don’t care that it takes me 25 mins to drive there. It’s awesome. My kids love it, I love it, we quite thoroughly enjoy our time. Thank you to my sis-in law Sarah and her son Jason for joining us!

Lehi Days
Last weekend was the Lehi Round-up days. Rodeo included! The boys have figured out that if there is a parade, there is candy. Kyle is getting very good at running and getting candy, eating it all and collecting it in his pockets. Justin had a hard time at his first parade because he wasn't tough enough to push kids out of the way. He has learned! He is a champ!
One bank gave out masks! To be super pigs at saving money. The kids loved it!

Kyle's 2nd Birthday
Kyle has been so much fun. He started crawling at 4 months and walking by 9 months. He has been full of energy and life since birth. He truly was an easy baby, and now, makes life easy too. He enjoys watching Justin have meltdowns over things. He loves to play with his trucks, diggers, or anything water.
When he was about 21 months, he started taking his diaper off every time he peed. I figured he had to be way young to start potty training. How wrong was I. The kid truly doesn’t like to wear clothing, but that is a different post. After I was done with classes last week, I decided to give potty training a full force ahead instead of a few hours a day. Within 3 days, the kid has not had one pee accident.
Two days ago, we left the house to go to the doctor and run errands. By the time we got home, it had been 3 hours since he had used the bathroom at home. We got inside the house and as I was putting things away, he wandered off. 5 mins later I heard him in the bathroom saying “YAY!!” (which is what we call pee, because when he goes I’m always saying YAY!) He had taken off his pull-up (dry by the way) and peed in his potty and was putting it in the big potty to flush. I love this child. He seriously makes parenting look easy. He is almost completely potty trained, all on his own. I will not take any credit for it. I don’t deserve it. He does all the way!
Thank you Kyle for being so easy and so loveable. Thank you for loving your brothers and your parents. You love life and everyone in it. I love hearing you talk and understanding things so quickly. I love being your mom.

Justin’s Itty Bitty Baseball
Justin got to play a bit of baseball for 2 weeks this past May. He loved every minute of it. We got him a glove and as you can see, he didn’t put it down, not even for stretching exercises!
Kyle was not impressed with the fact he couldn’t hit the ball or run after the balls. He was semi-entertained with his stroller. After that, we played fetch with his shoes, it was hilarious. Whatever keeps the kids entertained, right?!

Strawberry Jam
So way back in May, we found strawberries for pretty cheap, so I bought 2 flats worth. Kevin had different ideas for how much jam to make. If a little is good, why not make more?! So he went back to the store and bought 4 more flats of strawberries. This is what transpired over the next 48 hours. 48 pints of strawberries, strawberries for breakfast lunch & dinner, 4 gallon size bags of cut up strawberries for the freezer and even gave some to the sitter. Phew..we were tired, but oh how I love strawberry jam. MMMmmmm….I can eat it every day for lunch. Oh, I do. I hope it’s enough to last us until next season!

Justin’s 4th Birthday
What kind of cruel joke is it to have your birthday on April Fool’s Day? Well, Justin gets the privilege of this wonderful day to celebrate his birth. He turned 4 last week. He’s gotten so tall lately. His speech is improving, now it’s on to stuttering. He loves trucks of any kind, the color red, waffles EVERY morning for breakfast. He’s not a chocolate kind of kid, but he loves his Swedish fish and gummy worms. His idea of a treat is a Bug Juice from the gas station. He is sensitive and becomes saddened very quickly if someone doesn’t want to be his best friend from the get-go. Anyone he sees he thinks must be his friend. He loves to give hugs and gets so animated over small things that can make him SO SO happy. He adores his older brother and tolerates his younger. Although, he gets a kick out of how Kyle copies him. Ever Since James’ birthday cake, Justin has been asking for a barn cake for his birthday. Well, we all know how creative I am not, so Kevin’s sister Jenn offered to make his birthday cake. Nevermind the fact that she made his 1st, 3rd and now his 4th cake. (I bought his 2nd). She did a fantastic job!!
WE LOVE YOU JUSTIN!!
Thank you to all who sent a card or gave him a gift. His has been overjoyed with his birthday, that it FINALLY got here and he can be 4 and start his sports now and preschool.

Kyle’s Toys
Way back when (can you tell I’m posting on old pictures that I JUST downloaded??), Kyle apparently was bored of the toys he has in the play room. I mean, why should we buy them toys? I had a seminary teacher give his kids empty boxes for Christmas for that very reason. I am not that harsh. But still. This is what I found him playing with. He was happy for quite a long time. He was quiet, not really making a mess, so I let him be. Who wouldn’t want potatoes as toys.
