Kyle is growing up so quickly

Here are some fun pictures of Kyle I took. He is growing up so quickly and is becoming more and more fun. His new favorite thing is to spin himself in a circle and giggle the whole time. He loves to give hugs and kisses to anyone who will accept them. and how can you NOT want to accept them from such a snuggler! His top two teeth are in now and you can definitely see them in these pictures.

Fourth of July 2009

We had a great, relaxing, easy-going Fourth of July. It was the first year in a long time that we have spent it here in Utah, so that made me sad. Normally we go to Michigan to be with my family, so I hope they all had a good time without us. We did get to go boating with our friends. I of course, did not take the camera. Justin had a great time jumping off the boat into the cold water. He loved the tube ride and Kyle even liked the water.

After boating, we had dinner with Kenny and Sarah, Kevin's brother and sis-in-law. Then we saw the Provo fireworks. Here are some pictures of the event.

Fun in the Canyon

Kevin's sister, Lori, and her family came into town this past weekend, from Logan. We had a great time swimming, making strawberry jam (let canning season BEGIN!) and eating in the canyon. Thanks for the fun vacation and for watching my kids, Lori!

It happened to be Kevin's 35th birthday too, so they were here to celebrate with us. Lori watch the boys for me on Friday AND Saturday. I am very grateful for her and her willingness to help us. Justin loves Wowi and her family. I love that she enjoys the same things I do and how well we get along. She is always showing me how to be better and happy with life. Thanks again Lori.

Kyle's 1st Birthday

Yes, it's been almost 2 weeks since his birthday, but I just figured out how to get the pictures off of the internal memory of the computer onto an SD card and onto the computer. Complicated, I know.

I felt badly for him, I didn't do a cool cake. Justin got a cool one for his birthdays, and Kyle got ripped off. He did awesome with his cake. Justin freaked out on his birthday and Kyle was in heaven! He got a fun water table that all the kids LOVE! If it wasn't raining, they'd be out there. The boys I watch came over after the birthday party and asked at like 7:30AM if they could go outside and start playing. I can't believe it was a year ago already that he came into this world. He has been a complete joy and wonderfully, happy baby. If all babies were like him, I'd have a dozen. Just kidding Dad. He has beautiful eyes and a happy smile. He still loves to snuggle with Mommy at 5:30 every morning, but I love it, so I can't complain too much, except when I am super tired. I love you Baby Kyle.

Lots of Posts

I think this is post #4 today. We didn't have internet for a week while we were switching providers, didn't download pics, etc. Anyhow, I need to post about Kevin's graduation. I am so proud of him for his accomplishment. He worked hard and we didn't see him at night for a long time. It's almost weird to have him home every night and not running off to work, internship or school. I love it! We take full advantage and go on walks at night with the boys. Justin fell asleep during the graduation and so there is a picture of "the boys". Way to go Kevin!!

Cousins

Justin loves "J-Jace", or in lay man's terms, his cousin Jason. They are at the age where they have a love/hate relationship. However, in this moment, they were loving life.



Yes, I let Justin play in flour. My sitter gave me the idea. She actually uses a pancake mix because it "sticks better", but Justin loves flour. He'll sit outside for an hour or more with his trucks. This was Jason's first experience being in "Justin's world". He loved it!

Birthday for Justin

I never even posted a picture from Justin's 3rd birthday...2 months ago! All he asked for his birthday was a party hat. Apparently he's been reading and studying his Pooh book that is about Pooh's birthday. At the end, there is cake, balloons and party hats. He had to keep showing me the final picture so I'd get the party hat thing down. Oh man, he was thrilled. Now he thinks EVERY birthday needs cake, candles and party hats! Who knew!

He celebrated his birthday with his cousin, Holly. Her birthday is 4 days after Justin's and just turned 8. We love being close to Holly and her family and so happy we got to blow out candles together!





I have to tell you. When Justin first saw his cake with his new trucks on it, he FREAKED out. Like, screamed, cried, threw himself on the floor. He could NOT stand the fact that they were YUCKY! Kevin's sister, Jenn, made the gorgeous cake for Justin and he just had to throw a fit. She finally got him to calm down and ask you can see, was just fine and cleaned them all up.
