Can I tell you a GOOD feeling? Having a car paid off, and no more car payments. Yup, it's official. The truck is paid off. We just made our last payment and boy does it feel good. So we have NO car payments. YAY! Our van is not the greatest, but hey, it's paid off and runs, right? and the truck should be around for quite awhile because Kevin rarely drives it, now that he has a work truck. Phew..I had to finally share some good news. It's always nice to have some good news.

I just paid $529 for van repair and Dad had more of the same trouble while in Missouri this weekend. We're dropping the van back to the garage tonight after work :*(

Beth, I know exactly how you are feeling and it's a good reminder too. We paid both of our cars off last year and it has been wonderful! Our cars aren't the greatest, but like you said they run and they aren't costing me anything (yet, let's hope this lasts) You are such a wonderful friend that I love to remember when I see those people that have "everything" I think of those who are trying to do the right thing and not letting the material things get in the way.
