So Sorry.....

Man, you get out of a habit and it is hard to start back up again. We've been busy, then not so busy, then no pictures, etc. and then I feel like I can't blog because nothing exciting is going on...but here we go.

Our lives..um...Congratulations are in order to Kevin, he is now a member of Facebook. He is a junkie too. James is almost 13, I'll post more on his birthday. Justin is attached to all animals. He never got into the stuffed animal thing and now he is in it full force! My parents sent Kyle a cute bear for Christmas and Justin has now claimed it as his own. He calls it "red bear" because it has a red bow on it. Gypsy is the cat's name (courtesy of Grandpa Peless), and Mon-Monk is the blue monkey that goes everywhere with him, around his neck of course. Kyle is crawling, cruising, and walking with a walker. Who knew it'd start at 6 1/2 months? Can't he be the child who has no desire to start walking yet? Needless to say I am always finding something he's trying to put in his mouth. He is so much fun and such a good baby. Just happy to be alive and to be moving. Me...I am working 12 hours now at WIC! Wahoo! I went from 4 hours to 12.

So this week has been great fun. Kevin is out of work for now, because jobs aren't starting until the middle of February. I love construction work, did I mention that? I am just grateful for food storage and that we have the basics we need. We make do, and just push through and do what we can.

Here is just a cute pic of Kyle. He is just so cute!!

Wow you did a post. I'm so proud of you. I hope that everything goes good for you guys during this short down time with work and all. I can't beleive how grown up James is getting. It was crazy to see him on Sunday and see that he is only a few inches shy of being as tall as I am.

I wish you were at my WIC agency! I bet you're awesome at that. Madeline is starting to get a little braver with walking. I can't believe Kyle is doing all that at such a young age...what a "go-getter" :)

You know, I enjoy reading (and seeing when available) the little things ~ they don't have to be earth shaking. I check your blog daily : ) Let me know if you need anything AND call to let us know how things "pan out".

Hope we can talk to James tonight to say Happy Birthday to the newest teenager we know. Hope he got his birthday card ~ the bond will take a bit longer to arrive. ~Grma P

So glad to see a current post from you - things don't have to earth shattering or even exciting! It's just good to "hear from you all". Hang in there - and remember the song (you probably never heard it!) "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden". Looking back in years to come you may well find that the difficult years were the times you were closest if you remember to keep things in perspective and stay close to gospel princicples. Love you all bunches! Aunt Lois
