Have you ever watched Signing Time? I love the one about the Outside things. Love it. I started watching it on PBS when Justin was a baby, and he learned a few signs, but then "grew" out of it. Well, we have been watching them faithfully everyday. He usually watches one in the morning, or right before he goes to bed. He loves them. Well, we had progress last night. I always sign the opening song for him and last night...he just did it on his own! Then started signing like crazy! He loves to do "leaves" and then today he's been coming up and asking help, by signing it!! Without me asking! It was a total breakthrough. It's like he has been bottling it up and then BOOM!! It's so cute! I love that he is asking for help now instead of whining! I highly recommend watching them. I watch older kids a few times a week and they love to watch them and learn new signs. Maybe we can work on him not calling me "beth", like all the other kids and James does.

Cam LOVES those movies...he's been watching them for months..he dances to the music, is all smiles when they are on, but we can't get him to sign for the life of him!
I need to get Jason watching those. The little stinker will NOT walk, any suggestions? I love how Justin says outside and signs it at the same time. SO BIG!
I LOVE SIGNING TIME!!! My kids love it too. Brock can sign quite a few things and gets so excited when we know what he is saying. He is starting to talk now too. I am glad I found you. I was just talking to Danielle about you and wondering what y'all were up to!
Hey Beth! Thanks for your comment on my blog. It was so good to hear from you. The last time I think I saw you was at your wedding reception at the Provo Library right before we moved to Las Vegas. Your two younger boys are the same age as my girls. It is so cute to see them interact isn't it?
I love Signing time too. Maddy learned to sign about 7 mo. and did so until she decided that talking was more fun. Now that Kaelyn is 7 mo. we are at it again. We tape the PBS Signing Time shows and watch them ever so often. Cute Kids!!
I have GOT to start using this resource. Zach was an easy communicator very early on, Ben not as much. I'm glad you shared your success, that's awesome!
