James and his sleepwalking

Last night we had some friends over for dinner and James had been boating with some neighbors all day. Needless to say it can make you pretty worn out. So Kevin snapped this pic of James holding Kyle. He wanted to hold him for a minute before he went to bed and just fell asleep. but not any sleep. We all know James is a HEAVY sleeper, but he hasn't been "disoriented" when we have woken him up, in a long time. Last night was an exception. I woke him up to send him to his room and he started wandering around the house...with his eyes closed. I told him to go to his room and he went into the laundry room. I told him again and he walked in circles in the kitchen. I asked him what he was doing and he told me "i'm thinking". He kept trying to go upstairs and I asked him again what he was doing and he'd walk down the stairs, turn around and go back up. It was hilarious. He wandered into my bedroom and back out and then into Marilee's bedroom and started to climb into her bed. I took him out and walked him into his room and he still just looked at me (eyes closed still). I had to pull back the covers and almost "shove" him into bed before he could take off again.

He has Youth Conference starting today so I hope he can stay awake! they are going to our stake president's cabin---I hope he has so much fun! Here is a pic of the two boys together.

Oh my goodness...how funny! One of my favorite stories about my dad growing up was when my grandparents had company over and they were playing cards at the kitchen table. My dad walked out of his bedroom to the kitchen, opened the fridge, pulled out the vegetable crisper drawer, and PEED IN IT! Shut the drawer, shut the door and went back to bed. He swears he thought it was the bathroom and the toilet seat! We laugh about that all the time...so watch for the vegetable crisper next time he gets in one of those states! :)

Oh to be a sleep walker! I used to sleep walk but to my knowledge, don't do it any more... but who knows for sure, right? That's pretty funny!
